Indians Known for Family Values

We Indian are identified by our values, warmth in relations and international fraternity. Today when the entire world is facing the vengeance of natural calamity, terrorism and demeaning human values, we the Indians can be the torch bearers guiding the world through all these havoc! We need to unite, overpower our internal fear that is dragging us behind, and accept the changing scenario of economy, society and diminishing human values.

Be Human

This Raksha Bandhan is one of the ideal occasions, when we can send across the message of peace and brotherhood to the world! Albeit, this day is celebrated to remember and strengthen the bond and affection of brother and sister, it can aptly be facilitated to inculcate a sense of respect and trust on our family relations that teaches us to be human.

Raksha Bandhan History

There have been several stories of those people who sacrificed their lives to retain the modesty and save the lives of their sisters in our Indian history, like Rani Karnawati and Humayun, Alexander the Great and King Puru, Lord Krishna and Drupathi, King Bali and Goddess Lakshmi etc.

I am sure there are several unsung stories of brother and sister that can inspire us to retain the warmth and affection in the relation of brother and sisters.  This is the occasion when we should once again develop same bonding and passion in our relation to win the support and blessing of our elders and carry on the legacy of brotherhood and peace.

Legacy of Strong Family Ties

On this occasion I wish all of you a great day ahead and hope you all will add some sort of warmth and compassion within your family knots so that the new generation would learn from our values and take this tradition of Indian culture and family values to their next generation, which is the major source of our strength for which we Indians are recognized worldwide!

Happy Raksha Bandhan!
