Morning decides your mood as well as energy. Every creature starts its life with sunrise, and the routine will be finished by sunset. Humans are the only creatures that work all day. Planning the day with an energetic morning takes some time and patience along with little tips. Morning is the crucial time to gain energy you need all day. After a night of sleep, our body cells and tissues tend to recharge and the morning routine needs to support that. The biggest mistake all of us do is waste the early hours of the morning. One needs to work out, have plenty of sunlight, having a healthy breakfast in the morning to have an energetic morning. A healthy morning routine helps to kick-start an active day. Here are some of the rituals you need to adopt every morning to improve the productivity of the day.

  1. Get your Body in Motion

There is a saying that keeping in motion improves your emotion and provides positive motivation. Getting physical through workouts is the appropriate way to start your day. Walking or running at least 100 meters a day activates the growth hormone release and helps the detoxification. Running, gym, jogging, brisk walk or getting intimate with your partner in the morning keeps your day energetic throughout the end. Workouts help for repair and regeneration of body cells and tissues and support metabolism for an active day.

If you cannot make time for a gym or a walk, set a timer for ten to fifteen minutes and rotate between pushups and bodyweight squats. Dance also gives similar benefits like workouts. Dances like salsa and Zumba make your morning active and energetic.

2. Take Time to Reflect each Morning

Meditation helps to energize your body and mind. You can sit quietly in meditation for 10-15 minutes a day to take time to feed your inner soul. You can take the model of others to practice meditation but follow the timing of your comfort. Meditation is meant to discover your reflection. You need not copy it from others. But it is advisable to not meditate more than an hour in the morning since you may skip some important tasks if you are overwhelmed with the tranquility of meditation.

Instead of reading negative things or reviews, try to read at least a verse or a page from an inspirational book, count the blessings and positive things in your life to discover the better person in you. Reading inspirational books motivates toward positivity, and positive thoughts activate your body and brain towards more productivity at work and in family life.

Listen to the sound of pacifying music in the morning for a few minutes. You can listen to meditation and spiritual tunes if you like and can work out or meditate. But devote a few minutes in a day for music in the morning to enjoy the melodious tunes and recharge your mind towards an energetic day ahead. You can dedicate a few minutes to listen to sweet music on a podcast during your commutation to work or other destinations to enhance your mood and activate your mind and body.

3. Eat a Balanced Breakfast

A balanced diet is necessary for proper functioning of the mind and body. The biggest mistake one can commit to skipping breakfast. There is a saying, eat breakfast like a king, dinner like a prince, and supper like a pauper. A healthy and wholesome breakfast turns your day energetic. Take slices of fruit, eggs, and pancakes and waffles in breakfast to provide the potential to the body to work and think actively. Research shows that people mostly suffer from higher blood sugar levels, fatigue, and poor brain functioning if they often skip breakfast. You can take nuts, grains, and smoothies as the breakfast to vitalize your brain and body. You can take fiber-rich food like apples in your breakfast to gain activeness and improve digestion.

According to weight loss doctors, 66 percent of a person’s productivity decreases due to poor diet and junk food. Hence, try to start your day with a power shake or green drink along with your breakfast.

4. Detoxify with Lemon Water

Lemon water is the ingredient that supports proper digestion and detoxification. Do not add sugar to add sweet to warm lemon water. Instead, add natural sweeteners like honey to make it tasty. Warm lemon water is rich in anti-inflammatory qualities and supports better metabolism. Your body may dehydrate during 6-8 hours of night’s sleep, and water is essential to revitalize your body cells. Hence, if you don’t like the bitter taste of lemon flavor, add raw honey and make it sweet and consume it to rejuvenate the detoxification process. It is always good to start your day with a glass of water, and warm water or warm lemon water is more helpful to energize your routine.

5. Immerse yourself in Sunlight

Sunlight plays a crucial role in the survival and growth of all the creatures. Sunlight is the rich source of D vitamin which is essential for strong bones and muscles. Standing a few minutes in mild sunlight enhances the positivity and research say that orange rays of sun in the morning are the natural anti-depressants. Sunlight is helpful to repair the body cells and regenerate new cells. A morning walk at your own pace is helpful to get rid of toxic materials in your body. Studies show that the benefits of workouts and exercises can be doubled when it is done in sunlight. But hot sun may cause penetration of ultraviolet rays into the body and might cause a negative impact on the skin cells. Try to dry-brush your skin in the sunlight to get rid of dead skin cells and get a glowing and youthful look.

Morning is the most productive part of the day and staying motivated and energetic all the day with the help of morning rituals like workouts, meditation, providing some me time to yourself, and eating healthy breakfast. These rituals enhance the pace of metabolism and positivity in your body and mind. If you are not a morning person, try to adopt any of the above ways to make the most out of your mornings and improve your productivity at work.
